Country singer Gord Bamford visited St. Augustine Elementary School in Edmonton on Thursday, Sept. 4. Bamford visited a music class and performed for students in the school gymnasium. The event served as an official launch of Country Music Week and also celebrated a $10,000 MusiCounts Band Aid Grant that the school received. The grant program equips school music programs with the necessities to give students the chance to discover their talent.
